Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen and Mary Steenburgen are reunited and heading abroad for "the fun girls trip they never had" in Book Club: The Next Chapter.
The follow-up to 2018's Book Club will follow the quartet of Diane (Oscar winner Keaton), Vivian (Oscar winner Fonda), Sharon (Oscar nominee Bergen) and Carol (Oscar winner Steenburgen) as they travel to Italy for Viv's bachelorette party, during which hijinks will be had and maybe, just maybe, a book will be discussed.
The first film saw the gals spice up their respective lives while reading Fifty Shades of Grey: Diane found a new love in Andy García, Vivian rekindled an old flame in the form of Don Johnson, and Carol found the spark again with her husband (Craig T. Nelson). All three love interests will reprise their roles in The Next Chapter. Bill Holderman will once again direct from a screenplay he wrote with Erin Simms.
