Which films are nominated?
The Power of the Dog is the year's most-nominated film, with 12 total nominations, including Best Directing and Best Adapted Screenplay, both for Jane Campion. Dune follows with 10 nominations, then Belfast and West Side Story with seven apiece. See the full list of nominees.

Who is hosting the Oscars?

Who's putting the show on?
Emmy nominee Will Packer will produce this year's ceremony, with Shayla Cowan, chief of staff of Will Packer Productions and Will Packer Media, serving as co-producer. "I'm fully embracing the challenge of bringing an ode to one of the most iconic mediums in the world to life," Packer said.
Six-time Oscars director Glenn Weiss will return to helm the 94th Academy Awards. (Weiss won back-to-back Emmy Awards in 2017 and '18 for directing the Oscars.) "You need someone with the deep technical knowledge and creative insights of Glenn to create an Oscars show that truly celebrates a global love of film," Packer said. "I'm fortunate to be working with him."
