After forgoing a host for three consecutive ceremonies, the 94th Oscars will be emceed by not just one… or two… but three hosts! Regina Hall, Amy Schumer and Wanda Sykes will all handle hosting duties during the upcoming Academy Awards.
Hall is an actress and producer, who most recently starred in Black Monday on Showtime and Nine Perfect Strangers on Hulu, with two films having premiered at last month's Sundance Film Festival: the supernatural thriller Master and the comedy Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul. Hall has also hosted an awards show in the past, having been the host of the 2019 BET Awards.
Schumer is the host of the soon-to-be-rebooted Inside Amy Schumer, as well as a comedian, actress, writer, producer, and director. She is a 13-time Emmy nominee who won in 2015 for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series. She recently appeared in Stephen Karam's film adaptation of his stage show, The Humans, and will next star in the Hulu series, Life & Beth. She's not without hosting experience either, having hosted the 2015 MTV Movie Awards.
Sykes is a 14-time Emmy Award nominee and winner (for Outstanding Writing for a Variety or Music Program for The Chris Rock Show). She is a comedian, actress, writer and producer. She co-stars on the HBO Max series The Other Two, in addition to lending her voice to Crank Yankers, Tig N' Seek and Q-Force. Sykes has hosted quite a few events throughout her career, including the GLAAD Media Awards and the Trumpet Awards, as well as filling in as guest host on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
The 94th Oscars will be held at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood on Sunday, March 27. Tune in at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET on ABC.
