In Oscar winner Steven Soderbergh’s latest film, written by Deborah Eisenberg, Pulitzer Prize-winning author Alice Hughes (played by Meryl Streep) finds herself aboard the Queen Mary on her way to accept an award in England. With her are her friends Roberta (Candice Bergen) and Susan (Dianne Wiest), her nephew Tyler (Lucas Hedges) and—unbeknownst to Alice—her new agent Karen (Gemma Chan). Tyler finds himself tangled between all these relationships. Let Them All Talk is now available to watch on HBO Max.

And if you missed the news, Soderbergh will be adding another credit to his resume—Oscars producer—alongside Jesse Collins and Stacey Sher.

Gunda

2020

Viktor Kosakovskiy directs this silent documentary that follows the daily lives of a pig, two cows and a one-legged chicken. It premiered at the Berlin Film Festival earlier this year and is the latest release of Kosakovskiy’s trilogy of nature films. Oscar winner Joaquin Phoenix found it so moving that he came on as executive producer. Act fast: This movie is currently viewing in virtual cinemas in New York and Los Angeles for one week, before a wide release in 2021.
