Where the Crawdads Sing, Reese Witherspoon's film adaptation of the bestselling novel, arrives on the big screen this month, as does the latest blockbuster adventure for Marvel's God of Thunder, Thor: Love and Thunder. Jordan Peele's new horror movie, the highly-anticipated Nope, is sure to freak out movie-goers in the best way. And if you're looking for something for the whole family, look no further than Minions: The Rise of Gru and DC League of Super-Pets.

Minions: The Rise of Gru
We learned a little about the origins of The Minions, the goofy little banana-hued assistants to wannabe supervillain Gru (Steve Carell) in their first solo movie. Now we’ll learn how they came to work alongside their beloved boss in this prequel featuring a 12-year-old Gru, who is desperate to become the most despicable person in the world. The animated comedy also features the voices of Jean-Claude Van Damme, Alan Arkin, Taraji. P. Henson, Michelle Yeoh, and Julie Andrews.

The Sea Beast
An animated adventure for the ages for all ages, The Sea Beast tells the story of a feisty child who stows away aboard a legendary sea monster hunter's ship. The movie is by Bolt and Moana director Chris Williams, who won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature for 2014's Big Hero 6.

Thor: Love and Thunder
Chris Hemsworth's Thor has become possibly the funniest Avenger in the bunch, thanks to Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi. They're back at it again in Thor: Love and Thunder, which finds the wayward God of Thunder and his ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Oscar winner Natalie Portman), the new Mighty Thor, taking on a god-butchering super-villain called — what else? — Gorr the God Butcher (Oscar winner Christian Bale).

Don't Make Me Go
John Cho is putting the drama in dramedy in Don't Make Me Go, in which he plays a single dad who takes his reluctant teenage daughter (Mia Isaac) on a cross-country road trip after learning that he has a terminal disease. The drama premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and was written by This Is Us writer and producer Vera Herbert — so you know it's going to hit you right in the feels.

Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris
Based on Paul Gallico's beloved 1958 novel, the movie follows a widowed housekeeper (Oscar nominee Lesley Manville) who embarks on a Parisian adventure to purchase the couture Dior dress of her dreams. Oscar nominee Isabelle Huppert, Jason Isaacs and Lucas Bravo co-star.

Where The Crawdads Sing
Based on the bestselling Delia Owens novel, Where the Crawdads Sing follows the story of Kya (Daisy Edgar-Jones), who was abandoned as a young girl and had to raise herself in the isolated marshlands of North Carolina. As an adult, Kya finds herself accused of murdering local golden boy Chase Andrews (Harris Dickinson).

The Gray Man
Ryan Gosling is Court Gentry, the eponymous Gray Man, an off-the-books CIA asset who unwittingly uncovers agency secrets. His psychotic ex-colleague, Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans), is then tasked with taking him out. Ana de Armas, Billy Bob Thornton, Regé-Jean Page, Jessica Henwick, Dhanush, Wagner Moura and Alfre Woodard co-star in the action thriller from Avengers: Endgame directors the Russo Brothers.

Persuasion
The latest Jane Austen adaptation stars Dakota Johnson as Anne Elliot, who is struggling to move on from a broken engagement and finds herself in the middle of a love triangle between her former fiancé (Cosmo Jarvis) and her cousin (Henry Golding). Directed by Carrie Cracknell, Persuasion was written by Alice Victoria Winslow and Ron Bass, who won the Best Original Screenplay Oscar for writing 1988's Rain Man.

Anything's Possible
Award-winning actor, award-winning singer and all-around icon Billy Porter is adding "director" to his resumé with a coming-of-age rom-com about a trans high schooler (newcomer Eva Reign) navigating her first relationship with a classmate named Khal (Abubakr Ali). With Porter at the helm, Anything's Possible will be full of queer joy.

Nope
Jordan Peele, the horror maestro behind Get Out (for which he won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay) and Us, is back with a "new pop nightmare." Oscar winner Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer star as siblings in a small California town that experiences a mysterious event in the sky... an event that is probably aliens.

DC League of Super-Pets
Before he makes his superhero debut as Black Adam, Dwayne Johnson will star as a very different DC hero: Krypto the Superdog. This animated movie follows the adventures of a furry super-squad led by Krypto and Ace the Bat-hound (voiced by Kevin Hart), featuring an all-star cast of voices which includes Keanu Reeves, Diego Luna, Natasha Lyonne, John Krasinski, Kate McKinnon, Vanessa Bayer and more.

Not Okay
In this satire of influencer culture from writer-director Quinn Shephard, Zoey Deutch plays Danni Sanders, an aspiring writer who fakes a trip to Paris to gain Instagram followers — unwittingly posting a photo of herself at the same time that a terrorist attack strikes the city. Danni emerges a hero, but how long can she hide her secret before she gets cancelled? Dylan O'Brien and Mia Isaac co-star.
