Whether you choose the red pill or the blue pill, it's all for a good cause.

Lily Wachowski announced that she and sister Lana are auctioning off a wealth of props and memorabilia from movies they've made to raise money to support trans youth. Entitled "Enter the Matrix: The Wachowski Collection," the auctions contains items from Cloud Atlas, Jupiter Ascending, The Matrix, Speed Racer and V for Vendetta, among other film and television projects.

"Hi youse! so me and Lana have been doing some spring cleaning at our Raiders of the Lost Ark warehouse and have happily decided to pass on some of the best treasures we've been collecting over the years!!," Lilly tweeted. "No ark of the covenants but some pretty major and magical artifacts!"

All proceeds from the auction are going to the Protect & Defend Trans Youth Fund, an initiative founded by Ariana Grande earlier this year in order to distribute money to organizations "providing direct services to trans youth and advocating for the rights of trans youth in states currently targeted by anti-trans policies."

It's a cause personal to the Wachowski sisters, with Lana having come out as a trans woman in 2012 and Lilly doing the same in 2016. In 2020, Lily confirmed The Matrix movies are indeed a trans allegory. "I'm glad that it has gotten out that, you know, that was the original intention," Lily told Netflix Film Club. "But the world wasn't quite ready."

The auction also includes items from their personal archives, including various film memorabilia, awards the sisters won over the years and gifts from famous fans. Here is a small selection of the items available for bidding:
