Welcome to a world of calm. HBO Max’s new show (if we can call it that) is a visual adaptation of the popular meditation app, Calm. Academy members—and some Oscar winners—narrate a series of journeys through scenes of nature, craftsmanship ... and noodles. Consider it travel without all the airport hassle and any other humans. Or just a way to escape an anxiety-filled election week.

During one 22-minute exploration of the 10-part series, Nicole Kidman talks us through an episode about birds and their migratory patterns. In another, Zoë Kravitz takes us on a journey into glassmaking, Keanu Reeves on woodworking. Part-documentary, part-meditation, A World of Calm might just be a balm for our times. Go ahead, dive in. First up, sea turtles, ocean waves, and schools of fish, as Lucy Liu takes us on a journey through Indonesia’s Raja Ampat archipelago.
